The complainant stated that the defendant was going to take her to Brighton to see her father and picked her up from her residential address at 5:00pm, however due to the time they did not go to Brighton and went back to the defendant’s address located at address. The complainant states that they were at address for a few hours before she has contacted the Queensland Ambulance Service who have attended and transported the complainant to the hospital from the location.

The complainant has provided a statement to police in relation to this matter. The complainant stated that the defendant was going to take her to Brighton to see her father and picked her up from her residential address at 5:00pm, however due to the time they did not go to Brighton and went back to the defendant’s address located at 52 Edith Street Coopers Plains. The complainant states that they were at address for a few hours before the defendant “lost it” and punched the complainant in the stomach multiple times. The complainant stated that she felt immediate pain and did not give any consent for the defendant to assault her.

He was charged with [CC] 339(1)&47(9) Assaults occasioning bodily harm Domestic violence offence of Criminal Code 1899 (QLD).

He has no previous history of violence. He was born in 66. Good working history.
